Terms and Conditions

 The terms and conditions apply for all bookings made for Barrow Field Dog Park; 

- The field hire is a maximum of four dogs from the same household. Any persons seen to be exploiting this rule will be debarred from future bookings. 

- Dogs must be on leads while entering and exiting the field. 

- Owners are asked to leave the dog field before the hour to allow clear access for the next user. The sessions are 50 minutes and there is a 10 minute slot to exit the field.

- Owners are legally responsible for the behaviour of their dog(s) at all times. 

- If a dog is considered aggressive during the social play sessions, the dog will be asked to leave the premises. Refunds will not be provided. 

- We expect a level of training which includes a recall within the social play sessions. 

- Dog Waste must be cleaned up by their owners immediately. Waste should be placed in the bins provided. If you forget or run out of waste bags, a selection is provided for use. 

- We have an honesty policy, if the previous user of the field has left dog waste in the field (whether knowingly or not) we ask that it is reported via text or email. 

- Dog handlers must be at least 16 years of age. 

- Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times. 

- Glass containers are prohibited within the dog field.  

- Female dogs in season are prohibited within the dog field. Please ensure a minimum of 24 hours has passed for when the female dogs are out of season. 

- All dogs must hold public liability insurance as a minimum. 

- If your dog is showing signs of sickness, they will be prohibited from the dog field. Please reschedule your session via the website. 

- We ask that the dogs do not dig on site. We accept no liability for any dogs that have dug out of the park. 

Terms and Conditions for XL Bully Owners as of the 1st February 2024;  

- XL Bully dogs are able to enjoy the private field hire. They can not attend the play sessions. 

- The dog (s) however must be kept on lead(s) and muzzled until the gate is shut when entering the field. 

- The dog (s) must be put back on a lead and muzzled before opening the gate to leave the field. 

- The muzzle and lead can be removed when inside the secured field. 

- The dog must be registered with the index of exempted dog (IED) and a copy of the life certificate is obtained and provided in the event of a claim. 

- A copy of the public liability insurance certificate for the dog is obtained and provided to us in the event of a claim. 

- The dog handler ratio is 1:1 with their handler, unless with other dogs from the same household. 

- The dog is neutered in line with Government Rules. 

- The dog is microchipped.
